Peel Land and Property is currently delivering two elements of the Port Salford scheme. As well as the first phase of the road infrastructure works - a giant logistics building is now fully operational for food and drink logistic specialists, Culina with an investment of £23 million by Peel Land and Property.

As well as improving local transport connections and reducing congestion, a highways improvement scheme will help support the development of Port Salford - a new warehousing and distribution centre for the region which will become an important site for creating future economic growth, jobs and prosperity.

Plans for the delivery of the berth and railway connections are also underway.

The Department for Transport, via Pinch Point, has also supported the Port Salford access works by funding £1m towards the £2m scheme.
